Leaves are collected with the help of special knives, with which gardeners cut the leaves of the branches of the Kratom tree. Usually, several leaves are left on each branch so that the tree continues to grow and produce new leaves. Collected leaves are carefully selected and selected to avoid damaged or dried leaves.
Next, the leaves of the Kratom tree go through a drying process. First, they are placed in a shady place to avoid direct sunlight, and left for several hours to dry. Then the leaves are transferred to a room where they continue to dry under a stream of hot air. This process can take from several days to several weeks, depending on the drying conditions.
When the leaves of the Kratom tree are completely dried, they are ready for the production of extracts and powders.
Kratom is delivered to us in Ukraine in the form of a powder of ground leaves, which can be simply drunk with water or brewed as tea.
